Mọi người chỉ việc đến 22A Hai Bà Trưng, đăng kí ra sao đó thì BT cũng ko biết rõ lắm vì có người đăng kí hộ, Nhưng nói chung là rất đơn giản thôi. Nộp 50.000đ, ghi địa chỉ, và email, sau đó mọi ngưồi sẽ được một cái thẻ rất đẹp ghi tên và địa chỉ của mọi người. Ah suýt quên, thẻ đấy gọi là thẻ hội viên của câu lạc bộ Điện ảnh Hà Nội. Mọi ngưồi phải trình thẻ thành viên khi đặt chỗ và khi xem phim của Cậu lạc bộ. Mỗi khi có một chương trình chiếu phim mới, mọi người sẽ nhận được một email hoặc một thư đến tận nhà ghi những phim và giờ chiếu trong tháng. Phim thì cũng khá hay, toàn phim kinh điển đoạt các giải Oscar các năm, nói chung là nhiều phim hay phết đấy!!! Mọi người đi đăng kí thử xem, hay lắm đấy! Thế nhé!

Xin lỗi đồng chí nhưng cái từ miễn phí nó hơi quá đà rồi đó, ko phải là vẫn mất 50k đấy à, mà chiếu film là chiếu film ở đâu, có phải cái rạp to to em vẫn thường vừa ăn bỏng vừa xem ko? Hay là đến ngôi nhà tranh rách rưới nào đó cả trăm đứa chen nhau xem một bộ film Oscar từ cái thời film câm? Bác làm ơn nói rõ đi, nghe thì có vẻ hấp dẫn nhưng nghĩ kĩ có quá nhiều điểm hở đó ạ!

Không thể nói cái gì là miễn phí như thế được. Rạp chiếu film nằm ở trong ngõ, nơi đặt trụ sở của CLB Hội điện ảnh Hà Nội, số 22A Hai Bà Trưng. Làm thẻ hội viên mất 50.000vnd mình sẽ nhận được email và thư gửi lịch chiếu film hàng tháng đến nhà. Ngoài ra ta cũng có thể lấy lịch chiếu ngay ở CLB, ở đó còn có cả 1 tập tóm tắt và giới thiệu về các film được chiếu trong tháng. Còn hình thức thu tiền cho mỗi lần xem film thì sau một hồi đấu tranh pháp lí với lại cục thuế và sở VH Hà Nội thì không biết bây giờ như thế nào. Bởi mặc dù là hoạt động phi lợi nhuận nhưng CLB vẫn cần có kinh phí để duy trì rạp chiếu và thuê người làm nữa chứ. Khi trước thì mỗi lần chiếu thì mỗi người có 1 cái phiếu đóng góp là 30.000vnd thì phải.
Rạp chiếu nhỏ, đẹp, hiện đại với khoảng hơn 80 ghế ngồi. Phim chiếu là film bản gốc, tức là không lồng tiếng. Nếu film nào tiếng gốc không phải là tiếng Anh thì sẽ có phụ đề tiếng Anh. Nếu ai muốn nghe tiếng Việt thì xin 1 cái tai nghe để nghe lồng tiếng bằng tiếng Việt.
Vì số lượng thành viên CLB không nhiều nên mỗi buổi chiếu trước kia thì chỉ có khoảng độ 10-20 người xem. Những hôm trời mưa, có khi chỉ có một mình ngồi xem film trong phòng thôi. Bởi vì film kinh điển rất kén người nên không có nhiều người xem lắm. Thỉnh thoảng ta lại có những buổi giao lưu, VD như film "Cây vĩ cầm vàng" thì ta có 1 buổi giao lưu với nhân vật chính trong film ngay tại CLB.

Làm sao mình có thể biết được hết các film kinh điển được cơ chứ. Film thứ nhất cũng đã chiếu trên TV. Ngoài ra còn có một số film bi hùng rất hay mà mình nhớ được như film "7 chàng samurai".... lâu quá rồi, không nhớ nổi tên film nữa Cũng có một vài bộ film VN được lựa chọn nhưng đó đều là những film từ ngày xưa như film "thương nhớ đồng quê".

2004) and Jerry
Orbach (1935 – 2004).
Born in New York City, John Randolph always described
himself as an “old
radical.” Although he was a member of the U.S.
Communist Party in the
1930s, he refused to answer questions when called
before the House
Un-American Activities Committee in 1955, and was
subsequently blacklisted
from working in Hollywood for many years. When the
blacklist period
ended, Randolph played supporting roles in dozens of
notable movies,
including SERPICO, PLANET OF THE APES, KING KONG
(remake) ALL THE
PRESIDENT’S MEN (playing John Mitchell), YOU’VE GOT
MAIL, EARTHQUAKE, and
PRIZZI’S HONOR (playing Jack Nicholson’s mafia
father).
Jerry Orbach began his rise in New York theater in
1960 playing El Gallo
in the original cast of the off-Broadway hit "The
Fantasticks."
He costarred in a string of hit Broadway musicals
including "Carnival!,"
"Promises, Promises," "Chicago" and "42nd Street."
Among Orbach's film credits were THE GANG THAT
COULDN’T SHOOT STRAIGHT,
PRINCE OF THE CITY, POSTCARDS FROM THE EDGE, DIRTY
DANCING, and CRIMES AND
MISDEMEANORS (playing Martin Landau’s gangster
brother).
Our tribute to these two actors will be on Thursday,
January 13 with two
outstanding and entertaining movies:

classic films directed
by Vietnam’s most renowned director, Dang Nhat Minh:
WHEN THE TENTH MONTH COMES (1984)
A haunting portrait of one woman’s struggle with loss
and personal
sacrifice during the war, WHEN THE TENTH MONTH COMES
is considered by many
local and international critics to be the greatest
Vietnamese movie ever
made.
In the final days of the war, a beautiful young widow,
Duyen, faces a
daily struggle to take care of her young son and
ailing father-in-law, all
the while hiding from them the fact that her husband
has recently been
killed in battle. Keeping her secret burden to
herself, she is befriended
by the village schoolmaster, Zhang, who agrees to
fabricate letters from
her dead husband in order to spare her family sorrow.
As their friendship
deepens, Duyen and Zhang find themselves drawn closer
to intimacy - a
dangerous relationship if Duyen if to maintain her
charade. The title of
the movie refers to the month in which the “Day of
Forgiveness” occurs; a
time when it is said that departed souls may visit
loved ones still
living.
The film resonates beautifully with the traditional
Vietnamese precepts of
duty and sacrifice, combined with aesthetic influences
from centuries of
tradional poetry, literature and theatre.
Although this was the first post-war Vietnamese movie
to be shown at
foreign film festivals (winning several awards), the
film has seldom been
shown in Vietnam since it was produced in 1984. The
movie was recently
restored, with English subtitles, and we will be
screening this brand new
copy.

Powerful and poetic, Nostalgia for the Countryside
explores the tensions
and traumas of everyday life in a rural northern
Vietnamese village.
The arrival from abroad of Quyen, who fled the village
as a small girl,
coincides with the sexual awakening of 17-year-old
Nham, through whose
eyes the story unfolds.
While picturesque on the surface, the countryside that
Quyen dreamed about
turns out to be a landscape of poverty, passion and
tragedy – though not
without pockets of warmth and humor.
Somewhat controversial at the time of its release,
Nostalgia for the
Countryside has been acclaimed by international
critics as a masterpiece,
due largely to the sensitive and compassionate
storytelling of director
Dang Nhat Minh. Vietnamese with English subtitles
