Thắc mắc về 1 số tổ chức của Mĩ

Mình nhận được email mời tham gia 2 tổ chức sau
The National Scholars Honor Society

và

The National Dean's List

Đọc trên trang web thì thấy họ bảo nếu tham gia sau thì cũng có giá trị tham khảo cho resume thuận tiện cho việc xin học bậc cao. Nhưng thực sự mình chẳng có tí hiểu biết gì về vụ này. Nhờ các bạn khuyên giúp

Về cái Dean's List, cho nó có độ credibility đã có các bài của bà con VA :

@Phuong: dont know wat's ur school's requirement, but in mine (it may vary in degree but the idea is basically the same), u gotta have 3.5 GPA and have 15 credits for that semester, then you'd make to the Dean's list.

That is not hard at all. Does it really matter? It appears to me that all my friends make it to the Dean's List

@Phuong: the concept is like u made it to honor roll in high school, they put a little mark in ur transcript...so when u apply for grad school u got a little boost...or u can boast about it in ur resume for internships or jobs to increase ur chance...or it may qualify u for some grants or scholarship.

Yah it might enable you to get some more grants and like at my school you get to take the 5th class for free.
