Các phương tiện thông tin đại chúng, sách vở đều nói Việt Nam là nước đang phát triển (developing country) . Hôm nay đọc bài báo trên trang web Bộ kế hoạch đầu tư thì lại thấy Việt Nam đang là nước "chưa phát triển" (undeveloped country) . Nhớ lại cách đây 1 thời gian bác mình cũng bảo VN chưa được tính vào hàng ngũ các nước đang phát triển :-? vậy cuối cùng VN là nước "đang phát triển" hay "chưa phát triển" ?

The shift from centrally planned economy to market economy over the last two decades is also paying off with average annual growth of 7 per cent. Prime minister Dung told international investors last week that the country aims to achieve growth of 8 per cent over the next few years, to bring Vietnam out of its status as an undeveloped country, with targets of $1,200 per capita income by 2010.
